About
Why I build this for people who sell land.
I spent a year-plus in marketing, mostly for B2B software companies, learning how good lead and follow-up systems actually work. Not the theory. The plumbing: where a lead enters, how fast it gets answered, who picks it up, and what happens on day three when it goes quiet.
Then I started Smart Shamba and fell for land. There's something about property in Kenya that software never gave me, it's real, it lasts, and the people buying it are making one of the biggest decisions of their lives.
And I noticed something. Real estate sellers have the exact same leak software companies do, enquiries that come in, get a slow reply, and disappear. They just lose bigger cheques when it happens. A plot or a unit is worth far more than a software subscription.
So I decided to fix that one problem, well, for property developers. Not ten problems. One. The leak between an enquiry and a site visit. That's the whole company.
Land is wealth, and we help the people who sell it stop losing the people who want to buy it.
